The dad is correct. I’ve discussed this before, but it’s worth saying again; all political correctness is is the idea that you, for whatever reason, should be forced to hide your opinions to somehow avoid offending those that both hate you and are offended by everything.
Of course, it doesn’t matter to the woke “elect.” Hunter Biden’s dad is on the side of wokeness (for now), so it doesn’t matter that he was caught texting his lawyer random, racist things. Killary Clinton said that Sen. Byrd, a former klansman, was her mentor, but that doesn’t matter because she’s woke. Those people don’t have to worry about political correctness because the PC police know that they’re already getting lots out of them.
But you’re different. They know that you’re a free thinker, that you don’t agree with them. So they want to break you. Like Joffrey in Game of Thrones, they want to humiliate you by forcing you to bend the knee before chopping your head off. They’ll still hate you, you’ll never be able to avoid offending them, and they’ll never deal with you in good faith.
So don’t play their game. Don’t be PC or whatever it is they want you to be. Never hold back your opinion.
Instead, stand up for what you believe in. Say what’s on your mind. Never back down from a point you know to be true. Stand against political correctness tyranny and for free speech. The tyrants want to control your thoughts, words, and actions with political correctness. Don’t let them.
