What is infrastructure? Given that the Democrats want to spend literally trillions of dollars on it, that seems like a question worth answering. Unfortunately, their answer is nonsensical. They think paid leave is infrastructure, not, you know, actual infrastructure like roads, bridges, and port facilities. Given that the national debt is already highly problematic and totals about $90,000 per citizen, it seems like a bit of a bad idea to spend a few trillion on completely unnecessary projects. Rebuild actual infrastructure, sure, but don’t waste tens of billions on green nonsense and retirement homes.
