Benny Johnson of TP USA tweeted out this clip, calling it the funniest moment in Fox News history. I’m inclined to agree. What do you think:

In the clip, Gutfeld makes the joke that if the GOP doesn’t pick up 50 or 60 seats this midterm season, then they utterly failed because the radical Democrats have s*** the bed like Amber Heard. One of his cohosts starts laughing so hard that she can’t respond to the question.
For those who don’t get the joke, Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, who appears to have been abusive and then lied and said that he abused her, supposedly defecated in his bed. As salacious news from celebrity lives is always entertaining, that quickly got spread around the internet.
Regardless of what crazy celebrities are up to, Gutfeld has a point about how well the GOP should do. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, speaking about that, for instance, said he expects the GOP to pick up quite a few seats, though fewer than were won in the 2010 blowout, as the Hill reports, saying:
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) on Thursday predicted that Republicans will win control of the House in November — and that they won’t just scrape by with the bare minimum number of seats they need.
“We’re going to win the majority, and it’s not going to be a five-seat majority,” McCarthy told Punchbowl News in an interview — billed as a “fireside chat” — during House Republicans’ annual retreat in Florida
[…]Still, McCarthy declined to say exactly how many seats he expects the GOP to pick up this year, though he did say that it would fall short of Republicans’ gains in 2010, when the party netted 63 seats in the House.
One reason for that, McCarthy said, is because the decennial redistricting process has left fewer competitive seats up for grabs. Consequently, he added, Republicans will have to compete in bluer parts of the country.
Similarly, McCarthy claimed back in November that the GOP could pick up around 60 seats, saying:
“If you’re a Democrat and President Biden won your seat by 16 points, you’re in a competitive race next year. You are no longer safe,” McCarthy told reporters while flanked by his leadership team and Virginia Republicans.
“It’ll be more than 70 that will be competitive. There’s many that are going to lose their races based upon walking off a cliff from Nancy Pelosi pushing them. She may not care if she lose. She lost 63 the last time she was Speaker moving policy that the country didn’t care for.
“Many believe she won’t stay around. So she’s not going to be there to defend you.”
Will that happen Maybe. The abortion issue has breathed new life into a Democratic Party otherwise disgusted by Biden and how he’s doing, so perhaps they can stave off a few losses, but the GOP does appear to be ascendant. Unless it pulls an Amber Heard, it should come away from 2022 with a strong majority in the House.
