My Take on the Truth about Bernie Sanders:
Many people on the modern left seem to view Bernie Sanders as some sort of savior. That is completely and utterly ridiculous. Why is it so ridiculous? Well just take a quick look at the truth about Bernie Sanders; every aspect of his policies and his life show that he is a fraud.
The man is a fraud. His agenda is obviously a sham, as was discussed in a recent guest article. But I don’t need to dwell on that or discuss it too much. Plenty of attention has been given to his absolutely ridiculous agenda. Ideas like raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour (which his campaign won’t do for its workers) and implementing Green New Deal-like policies have been scrutinized enough. Well, enough for now at least.
What hasn’t been scrutinized enough is Bernie himself. The truth about Bernie Sanders is that he is a fraud. Here are just a few examples:
- When participating in the minimum wage debate, he demands that private employers pay their staffs $15 an hour, yet refuses to do the same for his campaign workers.
- He has never held a real job or created real jobs. Unlike President Trump but like Obama, he has only destroyed jobs.
- Bernie vacationed in the Soviet Union (showing the decline of the Democratic candidates from the time of The Best and The Brightest), yet wants to be President and claims he will make America better. How could anyone but a fraud vacation with the enemy and then claim to love his nation?
- He says he is a socialist, yet he has made millions in profits off of his book and owns multiple mansions. So is it ok for him to profit and live it up but not for the rest of us to do that? He already sounds like a member of the Politburo.
The truth about Bernie Sanders is that he is a fraud. His whole life shows that like many other socialist politicians, he is only after power and fame. Not improving the lot of the common man. Capitalism is a rising tide that lifts all boats. Socialism is a never-ending drought that strands boats and kills the crews.
If Bernie actually wanted to help ordinary people he would propose lowering taxes and regulations, not increasing them. But that isn’t what he wants. He wants to rule over us and enslave the average worker, just as Francisco D’Anconia says in his quote about money and socialism. It’s the common trait in all of those that disparage money and exalt socialism and Bernie certainly exemplifies it.
Don’t trust Bernie. He’s a fraud.
