What is the Only Message the Democrats Have?
If you are a masochist and made yourself watch the 2020 Democratic National Convention, then you would already know what the only message the Democrats have is. That message is that they hate Trump. Nothing else. No policies. No other massaging. Nothing about their vision for America. No, the only message the Democrats have is that they hate Trump.
In my opinion, the fact that the only message the Democrats have is that they hate Trump shows that the Democrats have, in fact, forgotten about moderates during this election cycle.
Why is that? Well, because most Americans actually like what President Donald Trump has done for America. Sure, they might not personally like him. They might think he is crass and vain, mercurial and unfocused. But they do not hate him.
The thing is, before the Democrats forced America to shut down and, in the process, temporarily killed the American economy, the Trump economy was humming along. Wages were rising, the stock market is up (and now is back above where it was before the Chinese Flu shutdown), businesses were bringing capital home to America, capex spending was rising. Things were going well for the American worker, all because of President Donald Trump’s policies.
And the average American, the members of the great American middle, remembers that. They know that, whatever President Trump’s personal flaws might be, his policies were working for America and making their lives better.
Democrats, however, do not seem to get that the average American thinks that way. They think their base’s radical, anti-Trump, pro-socialist views are the views of the common American. Hence why the only message the Democrats have is that they hate Trump.

As you might expect, I do not think that will play well in the November elections. While many people might not particularly like Trump and his mannerisms, they do like his policies and support those policies.
Hence why Joe Biden’s poll numbers have dropped precipitously as of late. Whereas he was at one point over ten points above Trump (that was as recently as June and July), they are now about even in the polls Why is that? Because the only message the Democrats have is that they hate Trump. That does not play well. Especially when contrasted with the message from the Republican National Convention.
While the only message the Democrats have in 2020 is that they hate Trump, Republicans have crafted a winning message that might be an electoral game-changer. That message is that they love America and are doing everything in their power to keep it great and solidify the progress President Trump has made. Here are some quotes from the RNC that show that vision and why it is better than the only message the Democrats have, which is Trump hatred:
- “Joe Biden said if a Black man didn’t vote for him, he wasn’t truly Black. Joe Biden said Black people are a monolithic community.” US Sen. Tim Scott
- “Joe Biden is basically the loch ness monster of the swamp.” — Donald Trump Jr.
- “America is not a racist country … I am the proud daughter of Indian immigrants. My father wore a turban. My mother wore a sari.” — Former UN ambassador Nikki Haley
- “Democrats won’t let you go to church, but they’ll let you protest. Democrats won’t let you go to work, but they’ll let you riot. Democrats won’t let you go to school, but they’ll let you go loot.” — US Rep. Jim Jordan
- “The Democrats still assume that Black people will vote for them no matter how much they let us down and take us for granted. We’re sick of it. We’re not going to take it anymore. The days of blindly supporting the Democrats are coming to an end.” — Kim Klacik, Maryland congressional candidate
- “The Democratic Party does not want Black people to leave the mental plantation they’ve had us on for decades.” — Georgia State Representative Vernon Jones
Republicans, unlike the Democrats, are pro-American. And, despite what Democrats might say, they stand on the side of all Americans. Trump is helping African-Americans by unleashing capitalism and creating opportunity zones. The Republican Party is standing up for America on the world stage and standing up to the looters that are ruining our once-beautiful and thriving cities. Tax cuts and Trumpian economic policies have unleashed the economy. And all that has been done not solely for political gain, but rather because Republicans love America and make it great again.
You see, while the only message the Democrats have is that they hate Trump, the main message the Republicans have is that they love America and want to ensure that it remains the greatest nation on Earth. And Trump, as the President, is the best man to make sure that it does.
Democrats support the welfare state and the rioters that are destroying America. Republicans, on the other hand, support capitalism and stand for law and order. The difference could not be more severe or easily recognized.
So, what does all that mean? That Trump is going to win in 2020. He’s going to win big. Perhaps the Democrats are right that many people do not like him. But they are wrong in their messaging. Americans want to hear about what makes their country great and what can be done to make it better. Not about why we need to erase our history to please the BLM Marxists. The only message the Democrats have is that they hate Trump. That is not a winning message.
