Remember when Donald Trump mocked “Sleepy Joe Biden” for holding no public events during the 2020 presidential campaign? Trump stated:
“Sleepy Joe Biden just closed down his campaign for the day (Again),” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Wants to rest!”
“I used to call Jeb Bush, low energy. But I mean, if you compare the two, Jeb is extraordinarily energetic compared to Sleepy Joe,” Trump said in an interview with Fox Sports host Clay Travis last week.
This “Sleepy Joe Biden” meme has seemed to have stuck with now President Joe Biden. Often memes do have a grain of truth in them. Why does Biden seem to not be so available to the public and tightly controlled by his handlers? For example:

Evidently, news reports have caught “Sleepy Joe Biden” again … or have they?
Benjamin Netanyahu appeared to mock President Joe Biden during a Facebook Live on Sunday, invoking a video that may have been manipulated to look like Biden fell asleep during a meeting with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. See below.

The tweet went viral in Israel, especially among Netanyahu supporters, and had more than 5 million views. Fact checks by Reuters and other news outlets concluded the video, which was shared on social media in the U.S., was misleading. As a result, Twitter designated the tweet by Netanyahu’s crony as “manipulated content.”
Reuters cites that the sound of snoring has been added to some of the videos showing the incident. Their conclusion was: Altered. Joe Biden did not fall asleep on air, this video has been edited. Here is a more clear view of the incident below.
Perhaps Joe was not in a deep sleep, but he does appear to be dozing and not paying attention to what is being said. Imagine if you had a high-level meeting in business and you performed as Joe? Anyone would be alarmed at such behavior. One would wonder if one was having a medical incident or even rude.
But Netanyahu is not the only one recently talking about “Sleepy Joe.”
CEO Elon Musk took a jab at President Joe Biden on Sunday, the day after his private spaceflight, SpaceX, completed a historic mission as the first all-civilian flight crew.
Musk responded on Twitter to a user who asked about Biden – see the link here. The follower commented: “The President of the United States has refused to even acknowledge the 4 newest American astronauts who helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for St. Jude. What’s your theory on why that is?”
Musk’s short response was hardly subtle. “He’s still sleeping,” he tweeted back.
The lack of support from Biden came after NASA officials, and even Musk’s rival Jeff Bezos all congratulated SpaceX, which safely returned its Crew Dragon spacecraft from orbit on Saturday. It was carrying four members of the Inspiration4 mission – the first-ever non-professional astronaut crew – back to Earth after spending three days in space.
Is Biden’s medical situation serious?
Only 49% of registered voters think President Joe Biden has enough “mental soundness” to serve as president, a Sunday Fox News poll revealed. While 49% said yes, 48% said no. When respondents were asked weeks before, between September 7-10, 49% said yes, and only 45% said no, handing Biden three more points of less confidence in his mental soundness last Sunday.
Ronny Jackson expressed his concern about Biden’s health. “I served as the White House physician for three different presidents. I’ve learned what it takes to do the work both physically and psychologically. I will tell you right now that Biden’s public concealment is a big red flag. Something’s not right!” Jackson wrote.

Is Joe Biden Sleeping on the Job?
Look, if Joe Biden is having medical issues, this is not something to be mocked. Whether Biden should remain as president is another matter. Though we can have empathy for people with medical conditions, we can not afford in troubling times to have a president with continuing medical issues as many are becoming to clearly see.
