Time to Lose Another War: Biden Plans to Spend Billions on Sex Changes for Troops
No, this isn’t a fringe theory or claim. Here are the details and the math:
- The Washington Examiner reports that “taxpayers will now foot the bill for gender reassignment surgery for active military personnel and veterans, with some treatments costing upward of $200,000 under an executive order signed by President Biden.” That will happen because of his “Enabling All Qualified Americans to Serve Their Country in Uniform” Executive Order.
- A 2017 report found there ~134,000 veterans and ~15,000 service members who identify as transgender.
- If even 5,000 troops got gender transition surgeries at the cost of $200,000 a pop (or snip, I suppose), that would be $1 billion. If a third of the troops that identify as transgender got sex changes, that would be $10 billion.
So yes, the facts and numbers are there. If Biden’s plan to foot the bill for troop sex changes goes into effect, then Americans will be forced to foot the bill for billions of dollars worth of sex changes for troops.
I might be wrong, but I thought the military was supposed to do everything possible to win wars, not be some social organization that experiments with society and finds how to create a force as freakish as possible.
More importantly than aesthetics, spending billions on sex changes for troops will present real problems for the military.
First off, Were you in a foxhole in Kandahar, a submarine deep under the Arctic ice, or a B-2 bomber over contested airspace, who would you rather have by your side- an average man or woman with no record of mental instability, or someone with gender dysphoria disorder with a high risk of suicide and depression? I know what I’d prefer, not that I’d ever join the woke forced of America.
Second off, the financial burden won’t be unnoticeable. $10 billion dollars is real money, even for the Pentagon. The supposedly extravagantly expensive F-35s cost about $80 million each (for the Air Force model). For the amount spent on sex changes for troops, the Air Force could by 125 F-35s, enough to give the Red Chinese or Russians a real headache. Or we could buy another Ford-class supercarrier. Instead, it’ll be blown on sex changes for troops that will likely be mentally unstable.
Finally, and most importantly, if the Pentagon starts spending billions on sex changes for troops, the average American will lose whatever remaining droplets of faith they have in the Pentagon. The generals have lost every war since WWII other than Grenada, Panama, and the first Gulf War, and the first two barely qualify as anything more than training exercises. The woke forces of America are teaching men and women in the Navy how to be anti-racists and attacking Tucker Carlson rather than focusing on how to defeat the Red Chinese. And now they’re planning on spending billions on sex changes for troops, something few Americans agree with.
America needs a strong, apolitical military. Biden will destroy any view we have of the military as apolitical if he embarks on this abominable plan to spend billions of taxpayer dollars on gender transition surgery for American troops.
And, just to note, as Liberty Unyielding reports, “The military has no constitutional obligation to pay for any transgender surgeries at all. The Supreme Court implied in Trump v. Karnoski that the military doesn’t even have to allow transgender people to serve as troops. Moreover, taxpayer-funded sex-changes are not needed for transgender troops to serve: Thousands have served in the military without getting any surgery.”
So, Biden’s plan is unconstitutional, unnecessary, and will cause Americans to lose faith in an important institution. Sounds about right for his regime.
