My Thoughts on Why Liberals want to Take our Guns:
Many Democrat politicians that are for gun control and upset that Americans are buying more guns than ever say that they don’t want to take our guns. Instead, they say it is just about regulation. Or all they care about is safety and “protecting the children.” But we gun owners know that to be untrue. This social justice warrior’s poster says it all. They do not want limited regulation or safety controls. Instead, the Democrats want gun confiscation.
The politicians on the left that are politically intelligent (so only a few of them) are unwilling to openly assert that. They aren’t honest with us about their end goals. But each little piece of gun legislation or gun control they push forward is taking us one step closer to confiscation.
Just think about the legislation they want to be enacted. A gun ownership database. Tracking devices on firearms, especially handguns. Limits to magazine size and restrictions on bullet types. They even want technology put into guns that only lets a registered user use those firearms, as if that is in any way practical! Not only do those proposed regulations and restrictions go against the 2nd Amendment, they also bring us closer to gun confiscation.
How do they take us closer to gun confiscation? Well, they would tell the police and ATF who owns a firearm and where those firearms are. That would allow the feds or police to locate weapons. Then, the limits on magazine size and bullet types limit our ability to resist tyranny and confiscation. It’s hard to fight against swarms of men in body armor when you’re using 10 round magazines and firing lead-tipped bullets and the enforcers of tyrannical laws know where you are and what weapons you have at your disposal. Liberals want to take our guns; those swarms of agents are the agents of their tyrannies and proclivity for compulsion.
All of those new gun restrictions and regulations are unconstitutional. The 2nd Amendment clearly states that the right to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed.” As Americans, that is our sacred right, whether liberals want to take our guns away or not. A right that all of the Founding Brothers say as necessary to the survival of our great nation.
One of the main purposes of the 2nd Amendment is to help us resist tyranny. I discuss that in the post titled “My Thoughts on Gun Control.” The Founding Fathers recognized that firearms are necessary to prevent the establishment of tyranny. Liberals want to take our guns. They are tyrants that don’t even have the decency to be in disguise. We need to fight back against gun control legislation to make sure we keep our weapons and our liberty.

Unfortunately, too few Americans, including young conservatives, understand that liberals want to take our guns or why the 2nd Amendment is important. Let’s start educating more people on both those facts so that more Americans know why their right to keep and bear arms is important and what side wants to do away with that crucial right; the fact that Americans are buying more guns than ever provides a good opportunity for that. If we don’t then everything our forefathers fought so hard for might be lost. They made sure to enshrine our right to keep and bear arms for a reason. Let’s not forget it and let the leftists take our guns, as we know they want to.
But you can’t just recognize that liberals want to take our guns, as Joe Biden has said that he wants to do. That is only the first step. Once you recognize that the left is trying to confiscate your guns, you need to start fighting back. Be like the patriots at the 2nd Amendment rally in Virginia. Or the conservatives from around the nation that have marched in defense of their rights over the past year or so.
Don’t just be someone who sees that your rights are being violated and complains about that violation. Be someone who sees that the liberals want to take our guns and then stands up to defend 2nd Amendment rights. That is the right thing to do. It is the patriotic thing to do. It is what the Founding Fathers would do; remember that the American Revolution started when British troops tried to confiscate Continental weapons stored at Concord.
So, in conclusion, fight to defend your rights, especially your God-given right to keep and bear arms. Liberals want to do away with the 2nd Amendment and confiscate our weapons.
Fortunately, we have the Bill of Rights, namely the 2nd Amendment. The 2nd Amendment is important because it is the right that ensures the protection of all the others. Without it, we will be at the mercy of the Democrats and their Antifa friends. Recognize that liberals want to take our guns and then fight back against them so that they are unable to do so! And if you don’t believe me, just look at Biden’s gun control agenda. That agenda is just yet another point of proof that liberals want to take our guns.
