How Liberal Professors Discriminate Against Conservative Students

Colleges are supposed to be areas where free speech is held paramount and ideas are openly and vigorously debated. That’s traditionally been what they are and it is what they should remain to be. However, the left’s infiltration of higher education and attempts to bias students’ minds against conservatism has led to a huge problem for the well-being of America’s universities; liberal professors discriminate against conservative students.

It would be one thing if only a slight majority of college professors were liberal. Frankly, that is what reasonable people expect and isn’t too big of a problem. But that’s not the case.

No, instead, leftist professors are ruining universities as they and their younger, even farther-left acolytes do everything they can to shut down free speech and force students to learn leftist dogma. Liberal professors discriminate against conservative students, leftist students shut down free speech on college campuses, and both groups do everything they can to make conservative college students feel unwelcome.

Some universities are better than others in that regard. But, sadly, the highest-quality universities also tend to have the largest number of un-American, pro-socialist zombies. Read the last chapter of Socialism Sucks if you want to know just how terrible and brain-dead they are. While their liberal professors discriminate against conservative students, those young socialists preach the gospel of Marxism. It would be funny if it weren’t so sad and absurd.

But those students, however awful, aren’t really the problem. The fact that liberal professors discriminate against conservative students is. They give us worse grades, harass us in class, and openly favor their leftist students. That shuts down free speech, is unfair, and impedes learning. Plus, as I pointed out in my review of The Simple Life, it can retard their scholarly pursuits.

America needs to deal with this problem. Quickly. I don’t think our university system can survive many more years of open hostility to freedom of speech and thought.
