My Thoughts on Why Gun Control Fails Every Time:

Gun control fails every time that it is tried. In that respect, it’s a lot like socialism, which also always fails. Most liberal policies fail. That’s because they’re based on emotion, lies, and a complete lack of knowledge about the actual issues at play. Instead of digging into the data on gun violence and gun control, liberals just believe in Big Government solutions.

So, like everything else premised on the efficacy of Big Government programs, gun control fails every time. Why is it that gun control does not work?

Well for one, criminals are the problem, not guns. No gun can go murder someone on its own volition; they are just tools that criminals sometimes use to carry out their violent, illegal plans.

Additionally, there just aren’t all that many gun-related deaths, or even that many incidents of gun-related violence. We’re a nation of 330 million, so things are bound to happen. But in the grand scheme of things, guns just aren’t used to commit that much violence in America. Rifles are especially conspicuously absent from gun violence reports; death by “assault weapon” is incredibly rare. Anyone who says otherwise is just spreading gun control lies about rifles.

And finally, gun control fails every time because complete prohibition is impossible. It never works. Ever. Yet Democrats and RINOs think that their confiscatory policies will work for some reason.

Those policies will fail. Gun control just leads to increased crime. In fact, Chicago is a wonderful example of that. It has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation. (Look at this map if you want to see the states with hyper-restrictive gun laws). But because criminals will just keep breaking the law, those laws haven’t worked.

Instead, innocent, law-abiding citizens have suffered now that only criminals are armed. The best way to reduce crime is to own a gun. We should all exercise our 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

Take personal responsibility and buy a gun to defend yourself if you want crime to fall. Don’t count on the government. It is incompetent and gun control fails every time.
