My Thoughts on Why BLM is a Marxist Organization
A Brief History of BLM and Why I Have Avoided Analyzing It Until Now:
In the past, when writing about the violent tendencies of certain groups, I’ve tended to shy away from mentioning BLM and stating the obvious fact that BLM is a Marxist organization.
That was not because of fear of the group or its agents, I am not the type that worries all that much about cancel culture. If I were one of the people that are chronically worried about political correctness or being called a *gasp* racist by a small-minded leftist with a chip on their shoulder, I would not be doing this.
In any case, the reason I have not spoken out before about why I think that BLM is a Marxist organization is that up until quite recently (the summer of 2020), it has been a niche organization composed entirely of obvious radicals that didn’t need to be taken seriously or listened to.
I suppose Antifa is too, and Antifa is obviously either a fascist or anarcho-Marxist organization, depending on how you look at it, but it had more popular and sustained support than BLM. It was full of violent, crazy, nihilists, but rarely killed people.
BLM, however, is even worse. It got its ignominious start when it backed violent riots in Baltimore and other cities and then one of its supporters set up a sniper’s hide in a building and murdered five Texas police officers and wounded nine more. From there, it faded into obscurity as even Antifa radicals recognized the fact that not only is it true that BLM is a Marxist organization, but it is also full of extremely violent radicals.
Unfortunately, all that changed completely with the untimely death of George Floyd and the protests and riots that his death sparked.
Once the protests and riots that set both America and our political system that seems to be predicated on racial grievance alight, the Black Lives Matter Organization went, almost overnight, from being a group hiding in the shadows and dark corners of the leftist political scene into a major force to be reckoned with. For some reason, tens of thousands, if not millions, of disaffected or aggrieved black Americas and crazy white liberals signed on to be members of BLM. It is as if they didn’t know or didn’t care that BLM is a Marxist organization.
From there, everything went downhill. More and more people protested with and joined or donated to BLM without a care in the world that BLM is a Marxist organization. Corporations bowed to and funded protests. Celebrities donated money to bail out violent criminals that were imprisoned for attacking police officers and looting stores. Absurdity reigned in America for weeks as each group of leftists tried to out-radical each other.
But, unlike the end of the protests over Freddie Gray, this set of riots never fizzled out. While some people woke up to the fact that BLM is a Marxist organization full of terrorists that would make Weather Underground blush, many others stuck with it and kept fighting against “racial injustice” and police brutality. Those goals would be worthy ones, but they are not real problems in America. The fact that BLM is a Marxist organization yet still has so much support is, however, a major problem.

The Marxist Nature of BLM
All of that was just background. Now it’s time to really get into the meat of the issue and discuss just why BLM is a Marxist organization.
For one, its leaders are trained Marxists. If there ever were a flashing red light basically screaming that “BLM is a Marxist organization,” that would be it. When the leader of a group is steeped in a particular ideology, that’s a good clue about what the members of said organization are taught to believe.
However, that’s not all. If it were just the leaders, I think it would be hard to say that, as of right now and generally, BLM is a Marxist organization. While that would be true of its hardcore supporters and those that were there when it was founded a few years ago, it wouldn’t necessarily be true of the parts of the organization that joined up just because they were upset about George Floyd. Those people, if they didn’t act like Marxists, would just be idiots, not necessarily Marxists.
But that’s not the case, hence why this post on why BLM is a Marxist organization and terrorist organization was written. In truth, a significant fraction of BLM’s supporters and followers act like cultural Marxists because, well, they are cultural Marxists. Marxism is about burning down traditional society; that’s exactly what BLM does.
Note: For those that don’t already know the term, cultural Marxism is attacking the traditional culture of a nation in an attempt to tear it all away and replace it with communist/Marxist ideology. Usually, that is done violently and is meant to utterly erase the pre-communist history of a state. Think of China’s cultural revolution if you need an example.
Just think about what these BLM protesters, rioters, and speakers demand. They want us to erase our history by wiping away every vestige of the past with which they disagree. If it were up to them, statues of Confederate generals and soldiers, schools, towns and roads named after Confederate soldiers, and bases named after Confederates would all be wiped away, even if the local community wanted the statue, school, street, or any other part of its past to remain the same.
But again, that’s not all. Attacking Confederate statues isn’t reason enough to state that BLM is a Marxist organization, that would just make it a historically illiterate organization with a bias towards committing violent acts. In addition to hating the Confederacy and traces of it, the BLM radicals want to erase the rest of American history.
They want to get rid of anything related to Washington, Jefferson, or the other Founding Fathers. Christopher Columbus is on their hit list; multiple statues of him have been torn down by the Jacobin-like mob. Churches too are on the BLM thought-crime list; statues of saints have been torn down, churches have been burned to the ground, and even wooden sculptures of the Virgin Mary have been set alight.
Yet worse, BLM is completely unapologetic about those attacks. And the ones I just mentioned are a small fraction of the attacks on America’s history and culture that the BLM radicals and terrorists have carried out. Had they apologized, perhaps it would be possible to argue with the idea that BLM is a Marxist organization and say that some of its members were in the wrong but the organization itself is not that bad. But, unsurprisingly, that’s not the case. They’re not apologizing for making America unravel or for erasing its history in an attempt to stop Americans from being proud of America.

That’s right, BLM is a Marxist organization because it wants to get rid of the nuclear family, abolish traditional morals, and attack traditional America and America’s history at every available opportunity. It wants to destroy every vestige of traditional America that we hold dear.
This is not just another protest movement. These are not the Occupy Wall Street idiots, the pro-gun control gun-grabbing crowd, or anything else we’ve seen. It might be even worse than what we saw in the 1960s and 70s. These people are willing to do anything to get their way; tearing down statues, getting arrested for attacking cops, attacking conservative college students, and other actions are all just tools of the trade for them. That’s because BLM is a Marxist organization.
If it weren’t, it and the other members of the woke mob wouldn’t go to such great lengths to attack conservatives and traditional America. If BLM was not a terrorist group or Marxist group, then it would not be using violence to try to get its way politically. That is not the tactic of a normal protest group. Instead, it’s the tactic of an evil terrorist group that wants to completely erase and/or rewrite history.
Rewriting and erasing history is what communists do, not patriots that just want to make the world a better place. BLM is a Marxist organization that wants to destroy America as we know it and replace it with a socialist state based on addressing increasingly absurd and unsupported racial grievances. Its members certainly haven’t looked at the long, bloody history of communism that Margaret Thatcher was referring to in her quote about socialism. Or, if they did, they just don’t care. I think it’s the latter.
