In a teleconference press briefing, a senior Biden official had this to say:
“Since January 20th, the President has focused on addressing the elevated threat of domestic terrorism…
In order to get objective and fast at — in order to get an objective and fact-based review of the threats that we face, President Biden tasked the intelligence and law enforcement communities during his first week in office to produce a comprehensive assessment of today’s domestic violent extremist threat. The goal underpinning that assessment was to establish a factual basis about the risk that domestic terrorists pose upon which we could then formulate a strategy and an implementation plan for countering domestic terrorism.
An unclassified summary of that baseline study was released in March, and it found that domestic violent extremists, motivated by a range of ideologies, pose an elevated threat to our country in 2021, with racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists — and specifically those who espouse the superiority of the white race — and anti-government militia violent extremists posing the most lethal threat.
Further, it found that violent extremists to promote the superiority of the white race have the most persistent transnational connections and may be in frequent contact with violent extremists abroad…
For the first time, the Department of Homeland Security has designated domestic violent extremism as a national priority area within the Department of Homeland Security grant program. And that means that more than $77 million will be allocated to state and local and other partners to prevent, protect against, and respond to domestic violent extremism…
We will work to improve public awareness of federal resources to address concerning or threatening behavior before violence occurs. And on that, I would just note that one of the things we’re talking about is the need to do something in this space, like the “See something” — “If you see something, say something” concept that has been promulgated previously by DHS. This involves creating contexts in which those who are family members or friends or co-workers know that there are pathways and avenues to raise concerns and seek help for those who they have perceived to be radicalizing and potentially radicalizing towards violence.”

I know that that’s a long excerpt, but you need to read all of it, especially the bolded part at the end. In this meeting, the government made the case (as Merrick Garland also has), that the biggest domestic threat the US faces is white supremacists.
Not the Antifa thugs that have burned down the nation for months and attacked conservatives for years.
Not the BLM goons that burned down the country all summer.
Not the jihadists that crashed planes into the World Trade Center and continually attempt to detonate bombs or carry out mass shootings in the US.
Nope, the biggest threat is the motley collection of a few thousand people in the KKK. You know, the people that haven’t done much other than kill one person at a rally in Charlottesville years ago. Yeah, they’re the biggest threat.
Yet worse, they don’t want to just leave it at “these people are bad and the FBI will spy on them.” Nope, they want you to be an informant, to spy on your friends and family.
In a stunning statement, the unnamed official is asking for Americans to spy on their friends and family and report “radical” conservatives to the government. If that’s not reminiscent of the Stasi turning millions of otherwise ordinary East Germans into informants to root out the “imperialist, Western menace,” I don’t know what is. The government is asking you to spy on and report on your spouse, kids, parents, friends, coworkers, etc. for nothing more than perceived radicalization.
Who’s to determine what is “radical” and what isn’t? The government obviously has no interest in dealing with BLM or Antifa, they don’t want informants to report on those evil terrorist organizations. But if you protested in D.C. in favor of Trump, don’t like gun control, or aren’t a fan of massive levels of illegal immigration, the feds want your wife to call the FBI and send the unmarked vans after you. That’s tyrannical, un-American, and highly disturbing. The Feds should not be asking Americans to become informants and spy on each other.
The socialist Gestapo that Churchill warned about is real and, if you’re an outspoken conservative, it’s coming for you. The “national security” apparatus has been turned on conservatives.
