Ben Shapiro decided yet again to sit on the panel of Bill Maher’s Show and play the “Conservative” stooge. He failed miserably to effectively spar with the leftist’s quintessential star propagandist, Malcolm Nance. A filibustering Nance proceeded to dehumanize and falsely accuse by association every American who attended the Stop the Steal DC Rally as, “laying siege to the US capitol to overthrow our government.” So how did the “hypothetically speaking ” Conservative “facts have no feelings” ninja respond?
“The 1,000 or so protesters who entered the Capitol building on Jan 6th are “evil” and will “all end up rotting in prison, as they should.”
The exchange is nothing less than jaw-dropping :
Ben Shapiro is not a dumb individual and one might say his intellect is stellar. But How could any conservative thinker so casually ignore an American’s 4th, 5th, 6th and 14th amendment rights? How can a person who makes his living hawking conservative books, a blog, and a podcast appear so utterly ill-informed about those languishing in solitary confinement being held without bail on non-violent charges? Many times I have had to ask myself if Shapiro is the controlled opposition, and again the question comes to mind.
In order to give Shapiro a pass for his offensive and absurd statement, one has to believe he is daft and has no information related to the subject. Do you believe that is true? I do not.
Here are a few things I have to assume Shapiro is acutely aware of:
1. Most of those charged in the Jan 6. US Capitol Riot are charged with misdemeanors such as knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority to do, disorderly conduct, and obstruction of an official proceeding.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia said in a statement that 495 defendants have been charged with entering or remaining in a restricted federal building or grounds. It added that nearly 235 defendants were charged with obstructing, influencing, or impeding an official proceeding, or attempting to do so. The Department of Justice says it has charged over 535 defendants six months after the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol.
No defendant is charged with murder, rape, armed robbery, kidnapping, or insurrection. Of the few charged with violence and or destruction of property, I fully support due process, and if convicted the sentencing should be proportional to the crime stated. “Rotting in prison” and being labeled as irredeemably evil are sentiments most often used for the most heinous of crimes. I do not consider a grandmother, veteran buddies, or any American who walked into the “peoples’ house” as US Capitol police held doors open and conversed – Americans who are evil and should rot in jail. Why the hell do you?
Did you feel this level of vitriol for Code Pink protesters who barged into senate hearings and assaulted politicians with fake blood all over their hands? What about the progressive masses who were allowed to occupy the Capitol, taking over Senate offices and disrupting the Kavanaugh hearing? Did you call for those who attacked police officers nightly for 100 days plus under the BLM /Antifa uniform to rot in prison?
Mr. Shapiro, is it your position that the above defendants with stated charges void of violence or insurrection are ” evil” and “deserve to rot in jail?”
2. In April, Democrat Senator Warren told Politico:
“Solitary confinement is a form of punishment that is cruel and psychologically damaging,” saying she feared the Jan. 6 defendants were being singled out either to “punish” them or to “break them so that they will cooperate” with federal prosecutors.
There is bipartisan outrage over this issue.
Mr. Shapiro do you truly believe that an American that was ushered in by US Capitol police with doors open and “entered the Capitol” and exhibited no threat of violence should be treated like murderous terrorists? Based on your statement it is a fair question. Do you support Americans being denied their fundamental rights? In light of the last few years revealing that the Justice Department is corrupt, how does an intellect like yours roll over on the Dais of the progressive Pied Piper Maher and allow your belly to be scratched while the obedient audience hoots and hollers at your obedience?
Politicrossing: “The Department of Justice has long engaged in egregious acts of prosecutorial misconduct. DOJ prosecuting attorneys seek convictions, by any means necessary. If that means withholding evidence, delaying court cases, and bleeding the persecuted financially dry, then so be it. With a 97% conviction rate, as a nation, we have crossed the line into banana republic territory.”
3. Lawyers for defendants have publicly announced their clients have been severely injured while in solitary confinement. Recently, members of the US House of Representatives sought access to ensure the safety and conditions of these political prisoners and were denied. Mr. Shapiro, do you support an American Gulag?
4. The few defendants who have appeared in front of judges to date on plea deals to non-violent acts have been asked to denounce ” The Big Lie” and state that they now believe Joe Biden is the legitimately elected president as a condition of disposition. Mr. Shapiro, do you support “Inquisition” like tactics by those in legal power?
Recently the Justice Department came before a judge to claim that no discovery evidence on a case would be ready until 2022!
” At a status hearing Friday afternoon for Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, an Army reservist arrested on January 15 for his involvement in the January 6 protest in Washington, D.C., an assistant U.S. attorney admitted the government will not meet its discovery obligations for all Capitol defendants until early 2022.”
Not prepared to prosecute cases until 2022? Are you really on board with that Mr. Shapiro?

I am asking Ben Shapiro the following:
- Deliver a public retraction in a visual medium for the highly contemptuous, unconstitutional, and frankly ignorant statement you chose to proclaim in the public square while supposedly representing yourself as a Conservative thought leader.
- Make public donations of $ 25,000 dollars to the Patriot Freedom Project and $25,000 dollars to Judicial Watch who are using FOIA requests and suits to expose the anti-American political prosecutions.
- Use your public media platforms to interview lawyers, family members, and US politicians who have information to share related to securing these Americans held without bail for months in solitary confinement so the public can know the facts.
For me, it is simple Mr. Shapiro. No rational conservative thinker would have made the mistake of pulling down their drawers and crapping all over the US Constitution on of all places – Bill Maher’s panel desk with cameras rolling. No rational conservative thinker would seek to slander and malign other Americans no matter their political affiliations by so harshly prosecuting and sentencing them in the public square without due process. No conservative thought leader who profits off of his conservative social media platforms could be void of all the facts laid out in this article. And finally, no rational conservative thinker would cower to the likes of Nance or Maher simply to gain acceptance into the Progressives Cool Club and gain future invitations.
So which is it, Mr. Shapiro? Are you a Conservative or controlled opposition? The only other alternative is you are an ignorant ass, and we both know that could never be…right?
Your response to the above requests will show all conservative Americans which of the three you truly are. Good luck with your redemption tour – I am actually rooting for you. But I must confess my Pom Poms are only for what I feel would be the best outcome for the conservative movement rather than any nod towards your “bonafide’s” as a conservative.
