This Baseball Coach was Fired for His Pro-Trump Tweets
Cancel culture keeps claiming victim after victim. However, at this point, the radical leftists have mostly run out of people on the right that they’re able to erase from society for doing “bad” things. Sure, there are a bevy of rapists and racist on the left, such as Joe Biden, but they’re left mostly ignored unless the left gets overly hungry and eats one of its own. So, at this point, the left is stuck with having to cancel people who haven’t even done anything wrong. The most recent example of that comes from Michigan, where a baseball coach was fired for his pro-Trump tweets.
Here’s what Fox News reported about that abominable incident:
“A Michigan social studies teacher and baseball coach has claimed he was fired after posting pro-Trump tweets, telling “Fox & Friends” on Thursday that the tweets were meant to “unify” and that “nothing in the tweets are inappropriate…
…Kucera said he posted “a couple tweets … in support of President Trump,” which included a “retweet of president Trump saying that schools should open in the fall.”
“So I was questioned about those three tweets in a Zoom meeting with district administrators where they let me kind of explain my reasoning behind them and I just said I think schools we need to open and I think we need to support our president and that’s what the tweets were about,” Kucera explained on Thursday.
“A couple days later, they followed up with another meeting and that’s where they gave me the choice to resign where I told them no,” he continued, adding that the other option “was to be terminated.”
For reference, here is the tweet that was deemed so inappropriate that the baseball coach was fired:

That’s it. A statement of fact that Donald Trump is the president. A statement of fact got this beloved coach fired. The gelid hearts of the left don’t care who their victim is as long as they’re destroying a life.
In fact, according to NewsWars.com, Kucera didn’t even think his tweet was divisive and he was adored by his students and players:
“Kucera said he didn’t mean for the tweet to be divisive, explaining, “I know a lot of people are just rooting for Trump to fail, and I don’t think that anybody should do that. Agree with him or not, you should want the president to do well. I apologized that [my tweet] brought so much negative attention, but I’m not sorry for what I said.”
A recent graduate of the high school spoke out on the coach’s behalf, saying, “Prior to Mr. Kucera’s tweet, I cannot recall an instance where he shared his political affiliations while teaching or coaching. My political views have no impact on how I feel towards Mr. Kucera. Mr. Kucera has always been supportive of me as my AP World History and student leadership teacher and as my baseball and basketball coach.’”
According to the Sun, the school’s response was this:
“We believe in the power of education and critical thinking. We believe vigorous community discussion, done with civility and mutual respect leads to productive and innovative outcomes.
So, in order to stimulate critical thinking, the school fired a much-loved coach that posted a statement of fact on Twitter. Sounds reasonable to me!
The left is going to far. We must fight them and fight them now.
